Product documentation
Find clear, task-focused documentation for Forcir Solum, Forcir's new-construction home discovery platform.
Solum helps buyers, invited builder teams, billing users, and support teams work with new-construction housing information.
The structure follows a guide-first documentation style:
- Start with concepts and access rules.
- Move through complete buyer tasks.
- Explain accounts, teams, and permissions.
- Document builder and billing operations carefully.
- Keep reference material and troubleshooting separate from walkthroughs.
Documentation map
| Section | Start here when you need to... |
|---|---|
| Foundations | Understand what Solum is, who uses it, and why pages or controls may be hidden. |
| Buyer workflows | Search, compare, share, download documents, and submit inquiries. |
| Accounts and teams | Register, sign in, accept invitations, manage team members, and diagnose role issues. |
| Builder operations | Manage linked builder profile details, media, documents, billing, and featured promotions. |
| Reference | Look up roles, permissions, missing controls, and common troubleshooting paths. |
| Legal | Review the privacy and terms placeholders that will summarize Solum's legal documentation. |
How to use these docs
Each guide follows the same pattern where possible:
- What the task is for.
- Who can use it.
- What must be true before the action appears.
- How to complete the task.
- Why a button, section, or page may be missing.
- What to check before escalating.
Many Solum features are intentionally conditional. A missing control may be expected when the user is signed out, on the wrong team, missing a role, missing a linked builder profile, or trying to use a feature that is not available yet.

Product boundaries
Solum is focused on new-build and pre-construction housing. It is not a resale listing site, mortgage application, purchase contract platform, closing product, or complete public builder catalog management console.
Some product foundations exist before every planned feature is public:
| Area | How to describe it |
|---|---|
| Buyer discovery | Available to public visitors. |
| Public detail pages | Available, with data accuracy caveats. |
| Inquiry submission | Available, without promising guaranteed response outcomes. |
| Saved homes | Not available yet. Use shareable URLs for now. |
| Builder teams | Available for invited or provisioned teams, not broad self-serve claiming. |
| Builder catalog editing | Ask Forcir for help unless a specific product control exists. |
| Lead management | Buyer inquiry submission is available. A complete builder-facing lead inbox is not available yet. |
| Admin/import/catalog operations | Keep internal. |
Documentation principles
These guides intentionally include:
- Required permissions for restricted actions.
- Reasons a page or control may not appear.
- Data and availability caveats.
- Current product limits.
- Troubleshooting steps for support and onboarding.
They intentionally avoid:
- Internal admin/import instructions.
- Test or seeded account credentials.
- Hard-coded promotion prices.
- Promises about unavailable builder self-service, saved homes, analytics, or lead inbox features.
