Builder profile and team identity
Edit the team name, builder display name, and builder website URL. Logo, media, and document management are operated by Forcir today.
The builder console gives a builder team a place to view its own inventory, edit a small set of public-facing identity fields, manage members, and trigger paid promotion checkout. Catalog and media operations are still operated by Forcir today.
A builder team is the only team type with builder-profile controls. Personal teams and buyer teams do not see these surfaces.
What you can do today

What is operated by Forcir today
The following are part of the product model but are not available as builder-self-serve controls in the current console. Buyers see all of these on the public surfaces; builders cannot edit them in-product yet. Reach out to Forcir to update them:
- Builder logo upload and replacement.
- Development hero image, gallery, and document uploads.
- Structured development field edits (price, bedroom / bathroom / square-footage ranges, status, completion timing, home type, descriptions).
- Floor plan creation and edits.
- Lead-routing email recipients on the team (use Forcir or the per-team setting once exposed).
- Catalog imports and source-of-truth corrections.
These will land in the builder console as separate releases. Until then, the public impact of any change you request from Forcir is the same as if you had made it yourself: the builder profile, development cards, and detail pages all update on the next deploy or sync.
Linked builder profile
A builder team becomes useful when it is linked to a builder profile. Forcir performs the link once per builder.
If the team is not linked yet:
- The Developments page shows a "No builder linked" empty state.
- The Builder profile section under Settings shows a "not linked" notice instead of the name/website fields.
- The developments detail and lead inbox pages still load (they read from the team and lead tables, not the builder), but builder-only context is missing.
Ask Forcir to link the team to the correct builder profile when this state appears.
Team identity field
Under Settings, the Team identity card edits the team name. The name appears:
- In the console header.
- In the user's account dashboard at
/dashboard. - In team invitation emails and member admin surfaces.
The name does not appear on public buyer surfaces. Buyer-facing copy uses the builder profile's display name (see below).
Builder profile fields
Under Settings, the Builder profile card edits two fields:

The website URL must be a valid URL with scheme (https://example.com). Save fails on malformed values.
Why a builder control may not appear

Support notes
When asking Forcir for a catalog or media change, include:
- Team name.
- Builder profile name.
- Development name and the field that needs to change.
- Asset type for media (hero image, gallery, document).
- The exact replacement copy or asset.
- Whether the change is urgent or can wait for the next sync.
Accuracy notes
Public surfaces are computed from the catalog. A field that needs to change everywhere (price, status, completion timing) is one Forcir-side edit, not a sweep across every page. Surface the desired final state, not the cascade of pages it affects.
